For the second year in a row, IDFA has invited a filmmaker to design the IDFA 2023 festival campaign. Eliane Esther Bots designed a series of emotive visuals—inviting audiences to experience joy, love, rage, conflict and more. With evocative posters in Amsterdam, tote bags, t-shirts, social media and festival trailers shown in cinemas, the campaign interacts with the audience, their experience and the experience of the characters in the films.
