Unhappy with her life, Ineke Visser embarks on a journey to pursue her dreams beyond the family greenhouse business she co-manages with her sister and husband. However, as she sets out, a series of mysterious events guide her toward uncovering her family's most profound secret.

Director's statement:

"Taste of Heaven is born out of an inquiry into cinema and its potential to take us to strange places within ourselves. Departing from my artistic practice and its articulation of film genres combined with either historical or fictional narratives, the film borrows tropes from melodrama, thriller and sci-fi to investigate bothe the brightest and the darkest side of our existence, with characters who present very human contradictions in an increasingly alienating world."
